The Alexelence Blog: Glass Ceiling I know I know I have been pretty Hidan of recent. But don’t worry I haven’t lost my head yet, just my sense of humor. . . .
Anyway hello and welcome once again to my Blog.
(On a side note I do need a better name for this than a blog).

Well it was no secret I was not going to be here for a while, but I didn’t expect to be away so long. In moving home it’s taken me quite a while to get things the way I want them. I finally managed to get back to just pushing everything in one corner leaving my desk, bed and bookcase tidy.

So now with normality restored and all the basics brought I whipped out the sketchbooks to have a rebirthing session. You know what? I haven’t lost anything. I am still as good/bad as I have always been. Though I noticed when compensating for lost time I took the pictures a bit slower to make sure they turned out ok. In doing so I realized I have always been better than I thought. I was just too rushed to really hit the detail. In breaking this glass ceiling I realised that I have been above it since the very beginning.

As you can guess this was most annoying. I’ve spent so long trying to break it I forgot where I was. I managed to mislead myself with an inferiority complex. I guess I could go on but I think I have managed to lay down exactly what I was trying to say. On to the next ceiling aye?

During this time however I have revised how I draw some of my characters so don’t be surprised if the newer episodes look drastically different. To give you an example of this I have added a picture to the gallery which could be described as the first real art project (my characters moving away from being doodles). It may well be my new style depending on the feedback.
